The Holocaust was a very depressing time, not to mention absolutely horrible. During the early stages of persecution, special security murdered or arrested leaders of opposition political parties such as communists and socialists. The Nazi party saw Jews, Gypsies, and the handicapped as a “serious biological threat” to the purity of the German race. They saw the German race as the master race and identified Jews as a race and called it the “inferior race.” Persecution also included forcing the Jews out of their jobs, colleges, and other activities. Jews weren’t identified by the religion their grandparents had, not the religion they had. Most of the Jews were taken to concetration camp, beaten every day, and then most likely killed. The Nazi party staged many different brutal attacks and riots against the Jewish community of Germany. The Jews were treated ridiculous. Just keep reading and you will hear about the early stages of persecution and all the disturbing details that the Jewish had to live with every day of their life.
Introduction!!
The murder of the disabled in the Holocaust took out a lot of people that basically had to die for having a problem that wasn’t their fault. The Euthanasia program was a big help in killing people from all ages. The child euthanasia program concentrated mainly on killing off the children that couldn’t work or had different disabilities. When Hitler extended the program he killed more people with more help. Also gassing was one of the big ways of killing a mass of people.
"I’m sorry that you were brainwashed. I wish I could say I forgive you, but you have wronged me, my friend. I will not contact you again to change your mind, but will instead remember you as you were before today, a dear partner and confidant in every experience. Goodbye.” After this, I heard a click on the line to note that the phone was hung up. I walked over to the fireplace, grabbed photographs of our two families and lit a match. Esther woke up, and stared at me as I sank despairingly into my chair. “Husband, what is wrong, and what are you burning?” she asked. I glanced at her and said, “I am cremating a lost friend,” and began to cry. Karl was the first of many former acquaintances who forgot us, but none hurt me more. This is just one account out of millions of jews being persecuted, and murdered during the holocaust.*
The death marches were when the Nazis had to shut down the camps and move the prisoners to another concentration camp. The death marches were horrible treaches, in abhorring conditions, over long stretches. In one march almost one third of the people died.
During the holocaust the united states played a big role in the war by rescueing jews from consentration camps and from other horrifing things that happend there such as the gas chambers and shooting them it was horrible.
Concentration camps are the camps where people are detained and confined, typically under harsh conditions. Dachau is one of the first concentration camps was located in the small town of Dachau approximately ten miles northwest of Munich. Dachau was selected by the Nazis because it was the site of an empty munitions factory from World War One was ideal for the establishment of a camp. By Taresa Goad
Entering the World of Wars can only be one thing for someone entering and its danger. When I say danger I mean danger in a torturing way if you are captured by the wrong people that is such as the Nazis. The Nazis were very cruel people and very greedy as well when it came to land. They had no sympathy for the Jews and would do anything to see them all fall of death along with any other countries. Hitler was the cruel man that started this whole dramatic affect during the Holocaust. He came up of ways of killing people that a lot of people would never even think of, it was like and everyday thing for Hitler. Hitler was a man of war, and he thought he had everything going his way and that life couldn’t get any easier. However he had no idea that the U.S and their allied powers were so powerful that they could end his run of killing forever!
Picture one man, sitting alone at a desk slaving over a piece of paper holding a dip pen in his hand writing his next book that will influence doctors, authors, musicians, and painters for years to come. The father of Psycho analysis, Sigmund Freud would be the individual in history to shape the future of literature and the arts. Freud practiced as a regular physician for some time, and then switched over to psychiatry before he found his true calling, psychology. Following World War I, Freud became a world figure. His thoughts and works influenced literature, art, religion, morals, social customs, ethics, education, and the social sciences. Every creative outlet felt an impact from Freud in the 20th century. His controversial theories fueled future feminist authors to argue his ideas, and his controversial ideas about the human mind and human customs forced every doctor to learn more about their field and their patients. Whether or not Freud’s ideas still stand strong in today’s medical world, he sparked the flame of psychology and helped people re evaluate themselves and their surroundings. The arts flourished from his new ideas. Painters pulled his words out of books and weaved them throughout their paints and pastels to splatter them onto a blank canvas. Sigmund Freud was the individual in history to create brain power to flow, new ideas to blossom, and caused a whirl wind of fresh artists to show the world their gifts. Because of Freud’s theories, people took time to learn about themselves more so than ever before. Stimulating his own thoughts and other people’s thoughts came naturally to Sigmund Freud.
In 1945, 7000 men and women were marched to the Baltic Sea were they were forced into the water and shot to death. Many other Death Marches took place when the allies surrounded the country of Germany. Many Jews were moved to German bases with little or no food at all. Death Marches took a major toll on Jews throughout the war. Throughout this essay you will learn about Death Marches and how they affected many Jews.
In the years of 1933-1939 many things had happened during the German devastation. If you think persecution was bad during Hitler’s reign. Then just imagine how the people in the early stages felt. Pain was everything. Killing was most common. Blood was most seen. Loss was easy. Love was not enough. But I will show you detail for detail everything the Jews went through before Hitler went into his rage.
Killing of the Jews Happend just beofe the Jews eyes when they were caputed and sent to concentration camp. Concentration camp is a prison camp used to hold Jews during World War II and the Holocaust, but I will explain to the rescue of the Jews.
During the holocaust millions of Jews were massacred. But not just Jews were killed gypsies, soviet state, and the soviet communist party was killed in mass numbers. The mobile killing squads did the most damage and the most killing out of all the killing that was done to everyone. My topic is mobile killing squads they were vicious in killing they did not care how many people they killed as long as they are Jews. They ways I can explain them is this: people they killed, ways they killed, and regions they killed in.
During the time of the Holocaust, Nazis murdered millions of Jews. Nazis slaughtered Jews because of their religion and because the Jews where not the dominate race. Ghettos were where many Jews lived during the Holocaust. These ghettos were located in many cities, but not every city had a ghetto. They were never meant to be more than temporary, but some existed for a long time.
Terror, pain, questions, no answers, fears, these are some of the many emotions that the Jews faced during their persecution. Rescue, in 1945 World War II ended and the consecration camps were demolished. The survivors were a thankful and a broken people, they lost so much but it was over their chains gone, and their freedom restored. There were many holes that needed filled, and so much work to be done, but their hope restored in honor of the deceased to move forward and to never take one day for granted because the survivors learned the most what life really means. The rescue might seem the end but the rescue is only part of their story and that is the part I am blessed to tell. So sit back and listen to there story.
The first concentration camps in Germany were established soon after Hitler became chancellor in January 1933. German authorities established camps all over Germany to handle the masses of people arrested as alleged subversives. The local, and civilian authorities, organized numerous detention camps to incarcerate real and perceived political opponents of Nazi policy. From 1933 to 1938, concentration camps were a big problem, but nowhere near genocide. In 1939, the camp system became what we now call the holocaust. World War Two began in 1939 just as the Nazi persecution of the Jews began to reach a high point, and from then until 1942, this did not end.
Auschwitz was the second and probably the worst concentration camp that Hitler built for persecuting the Jews and some others that weren’t blond haired and blue eyed people.
Before the Tribunal, the persecution of Jews from the Nazi Government was proved in the greatest detail. It was known for a record of consistent and systematic inhumanity on the greatest scale. Up to 90,000 men, women, and children, which were mainly Jews, were murdered in one year.
During the time of the Holocaust the Expansion of the Concentration Camp System came along. From 1938-1942 is when this expansion took place. A number of different camps across Germany controlled the Jews. As Germany conquered much of Europe in the years 1939-1941, the SS found many new concentration camps to increase numbers of political prisoners, resistance groups, and groups such as Jews and Roma (Gypsies). A few of the main camps included Gusen in 1939, Neuengamme in 1940, Gross-Rosen in 1940, and Stutthof in 1942.
Thinking of the Holocaust makes me feel really sad. At first I could not imagine how the Germans treated the Jews, or how it happend, but after all the research that I have done over the Holocaust I have a clear idea of how the Jews sufferd. I think that what the Germans did against the Jews was really wrong, no one deserves to be treated like they were treated back in those days. Every human should be treated with respect.
"No need forthe disabled," they all say. Nazi's thought of "euthansia" as a euphemistic term for a clandestine murder program which targeted for systematic killing of mentally and physically disabled patients. " The Euthanasia Program was Germany's first mass murder, predating the genocide of European Jewry, which we called the holocaust, by approximately two years."
The world in which we know and love is not always in a state of peace and tranquility. Actually, it never is. We are only showed a small portion of the tragedy's that are endured by many people around the world. Even now, the most evil we are observers of, is condemned to the past on paer and digital outlets. One of the many tragedy's that have happened to the world is the holocaust, the killing of over six million jews and five million non-jews. Operated by the SS (Schutzshaffel), Einsatzgruppen, or mobile killing units, was the special task force formed by Heinrich Himmler during and before World War II. Einsatzgruppen was Adolft Hitler's final conquest to end the "Jewish Question".
